Introduction

It was the beginning of my 3rd year at graduation, elder brother suggested me to Pebibits for coaching where he also went during his college time.

After a few days, I went there and met Om sir (The CEO) who tries to find some time to teach students. The course included HTML, CSS, JS, Php & Mysql.

The Classes

There was a different energy, everything felt so light and simple. We started with HTML and the kind of depth Sir has in each topic was amazing. I read some HTML on the internet before but what Sir was teaching was really different and interesting. We learned so much and laughed so much.

He used to give us small tasks on topics he teaches and we used to discuss them in the next class and it used to be fun. Once he gave us the task to build a navigation bar and I made buttons in red fonts with a black background and Sir said in his innocent voice “ye kya hai mujhe to dikh hi nahi raha” (what is this I can’t even see) and I still laugh on it sometimes.

College Seniors/ Coaching Classmates

We were a class of five Ravi, Anuraj, Yash, Jaigopal, and me. All of the others were my college seniors and they were from the same batch. They knew each other for some time and they were so nicely bonded together.

It was fun to watch them pulling each other’s leg and helping each other with the code. All four of them treated me like their younger brother and helped me a lot there.

Teachers

Nandu Sir was very friendly and the one who mostly dropped me at the highway where I can get a taxi to reach my flat. He also used to take our Bootstrap classes. While teaching he used to tell the CSS behind the BS classes and it was amazing to listen to him.

Ravindra sir was my mentor at the time I was learning React. He was also really friendly. I was not very comfortable with React and used to worry about my tasks one day he came and said don’t worry take it easy, you are doing good after that I gained some confidence and got better at React.

Memories

Sir advised me to spend some time in the office. Because I didn’t complete my homework a few times. So I followed his advice and started to go to the office post-college hours.

I came across Django on those days too and really liked its documentation so I used to sit and read its documentation for hours. I was the youngest there so I used to sit quietly and always focused on studying.

Ravi setting up computers for the Counter-Strike session

There was a culture of playing Counter-Strike at lunchtime. I started to join sometimes and it was really fun. I think I have killed around 5 players in my career.

Om Sir

The way he talks about any subject, and the kind of depth he has was awesome to see. I was reading to a player talking about MSD that he grooms players. I have seen Sir grooming students, one of them was me.

Conversation with brother about Sir

There are people for whom there is by default respect comes out. Do not know how many people are their fans but nobody can hate them. People like APJ Abdul Kalam you listen to his name and you feel like bowing down, Sir gives me the same feeling.

The best thing was he never gave us a single tip about self-development and always talked about tech. But after attending a few classes I felt there was a major positive shift in my character I felt I was being more gentle.

EndNote

The thing that affected me was they were full of life and energy. They used to work, laugh and enjoy things. Their bond is really nice with each other.

I will cherish the days spent, they were the most productive hours of my graduation. Thanks a ton to everyone I mate there for all the care, affection, and knowledge and for dropping me from the office to the highway.
